LLOYD takes an active role in social issues on both a supra-regional level and on-site at its Sulingen location. Christmas gifts from suppliers and customers do not thus go to the individual recipient, but are raffled off in a tombola. The proceeds are donated to a debt counselling organisation – LLOYD is a member of the Lower Saxony Debt Counselling Association (Schuldnerberatung Niedersachsen e.V.) – the Löwenherz children's hospice and other organisations. Instead of sending Christmas gifts to customers and suppliers ourselves, the budget set aside for this is likewise donated to these causes. In terms of cultural sponsorship, LLOYD supported the 'SchuhTick' footwear exhibition. In Sulingen, LLOYD supports amongst others the city fund for children and young people, the local THW group (an organisation that offers technical assistance to those in need), the cultural association and sports clubs.
