Personnel development: LLOYD is a family-friendly company that offers flexible working hours and job sharing opportunities. We always endeavour to be responsive to special situations, such as resuming work after pregnancy. LLOYD also offers a partial retirement scheme that has no negative impact on later retirement. Apprentices at LLOYD receive particular encouragement and extremely comprehensive support during preparation for examinations.
Health management: The aim of workplace health management is to maintain and promote the health and wellbeing of employees. Workplace health management considers the employees' health to be one of the most important factors influencing employee motivation, corporate culture and the company image. Compared with the rest of the shoe industry, exceptionally high standards apply at LLOYD. These standards apply to sound-absorbing measures, for example, as well as in ventilation technology, hall lighting and workplace ergonomics. All workplaces which involve work with solvents are inspected and considered to be safe in the long-term. LLOYD has established the same working conditions at its Romanian production locations as in Germany. This is particularly relevant to the solvent regulations.
Voluntary additional contributions: LLOYD has a relief fund that has been set up for employees who have fallen into difficulties through no fault of their own and whose livelihood is at stake, in order to be able to offer them short-term, unbureaucratic assistance. An additional 20% is paid into the pension fund on top of the employee-funded pension. In the manufacturing sector, the principle of equal pay for equal work has already been fully implemented.
